With Viber campaigns, you send branded messages to your customers on Viber. Only businesses approved by Viber can send these messages, and the Wavix team sends each campaign for you.

How Viber campaigns work

Viber campaigns are a managed service. You don’t build or send the campaign yourself:
  1. Request access. Contact the Wavix team with your use case, target countries, and expected volume. Wavix reviews each request individually.
  2. Register your sender. After approval, the Wavix team registers your business as a Viber sender, with your business name and logo. Viber reviews and approves each sender.
  3. Send your campaign brief. Share your recipient list, message content, and schedule with the Wavix team.
  4. Get your results. The Wavix team sends the campaign and shares the delivery report with you.

Message content

  • Text messages with links and emojis.
  • Images, videos, and files.
  • Buttons that open a link, combined with text and an image.

Branded sender

Your messages show your business name and logo. Viber marks verified business senders with a badge, so customers know the message comes from you.

Message types

  • Promotional messages, such as offers and announcements.
  • Transactional messages, such as order updates and reminders.
Viber applies different rules and prices to each type. The Wavix team helps you choose the right type for your campaign.

Personalization

Add placeholders to your message, such as the customer name or an order number. The Wavix team fills them in for each recipient from your recipient list.

Scheduling

Send your campaign right away or schedule it for later. You can set a delivery window, so messages don’t reach customers outside business hours in their time zone.

SMS failover

If a recipient doesn’t use Viber or the message isn’t delivered, the campaign can send the message as an SMS instead. This way, you reach customers who can’t receive Viber messages.

Delivery reports

After the campaign, you get a report with the number of messages sent, delivered, and seen, plus the messages sent through SMS failover.
