Select an account level
Before you can select a level, the Wavix team reviews your account for compliance. You stay in the sandbox during the review. Once your account is approved, sign in to the Wavix portal and select an account level. For details on the review, see Create a Wavix account. You can choose Wavix Flex or Flex Pro. After you select a level:- You can send to any recipient. The verified-number restriction is removed.
- Messages aren’t marked as test traffic. The
[WAVIX TRIAL]prefix is no longer added to SMS messages, so they go out the same way they will in production. - More endpoints become available. Capabilities that depend on an account level, such as purchasing numbers, start working.
- Your code stays the same. You use the same endpoints and API key as before, so nothing in your integration changes.
Prepare for production
Going live removes the sandbox restrictions, but most channels need extra setup before you send to real recipients at scale. Set up the ones you use: Voice and Voice AI- Create a SIP trunk to connect your PBX or communications platform.
- Add your server’s IP addresses to the allowlist so the platform accepts your traffic.
- Connect an AI agent over SIP, using LiveKit, OpenAI, Vapi, or Retell AI. See Voice AI.
- Stream live call audio to your application with call media streaming.
- Register a Sender ID for each country you send to.
- Register for US A2P 10DLC if you send to US numbers.
- Buy or port numbers to receive inbound calls and messages.
